Who We Are
Who are we?
Wakulla Giving Hands, Inc, a non-profit that was established officially November, 2023, by several members that live in Wakulla and Leon County that have a heart and wanted to do more for their communities. There are four board members, and several volunteers that all share the same passion, which is helping the less fortunate, which includes seniors, children, and families.
How we started?
Wakulla Giving Hands began in the front yard of Co Founder Casey Kimbrell. Then moved over to the yard and garage of Co Founder Christell Wood. In may 2024 Wakulla Giving Hands was blessed with a building in Wakulla County. Between November 2023 and November 2024, 140000 individuals was provided the Essentials they needed. Taking care of 2000 individuals minimum at our summer and Christmas events, where we give out free toys, clothing and Essentials to anyone in need.
What We Do
Our Mission: The Organization goal is to bring communities together by collecting donations and charitable resources to help provide those in need of assistance throughout the state of Florida. To assist elderly, children, and less fortunate families in our communities. This consists of but not limited to, assisting in major food insecurities, personal hygiene products, clothing and toys for Christmas in Wakulla and surrounding counties. Together we can make a difference.
