C.A.R.E.S.

The C.A.R.E.S. (Children Assistance Resources Essentials Support) program, run by Wakulla Giving Hands, is dedicated to supporting the well-being of children in Wakulla County from birth to 18 years old. We strive to provide essential resources and create positive experiences for our youth.

C.A.R.E.S. organizes a variety of events throughout the year to support children and families in Wakulla County. These events are designed to provide enriching experiences and essential resources. From summer fun to holiday cheer, we aim to create memorable moments for the children we serve. Our summer feeding program is a cornerstone initiative, combating food insecurity during the months when school is out. We believe that every child deserves access to nutritious meals, and we are committed to making that a reality.
